Current Initiatives & Future Goals
Packaging Reduction: Over 50% of our packaging is already reusable, significantly reducing waste in the supply chain. We work with customers to implement returnable packaging systems that protect components whilst minimising environmental impact. Our goal is to continuously increase this percentage through innovative packaging solutions and customer collaboration.
Energy Efficiency: Our five-year plan includes upgrading all injection moulding machines to the latest energy-efficient models. Modern machines can reduce energy consumption by up to 50% compared to older equipment, delivering both environmental benefits and operational cost savings. This investment demonstrates our long-term commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
Waste Reduction: We continuously review our production processes to identify opportunities for waste reduction. This includes:
- Optimising production runs to minimise material waste
- Recycling production scrap where possible
- Improving process efficiency to reduce reject rates
- Working with customers to design components that use less material
